Poroshenko says grateful for int’l efforts to release Ukrainian political prisoners in Russia
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko thanked via Twitter the country’s international partners for their efforts aimed to release Ukrainian political prisoners illegally held in Russian prisons.
"I am grateful to our international partners, who together with us are making efforts to release Ukrainian political prisoners illegally held by Russia. I am convinced that truth and justice will prevail," Poroshenko wrote.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the British Embassy called on the Russian Federation to immediately release all Ukrainian political prisoners.
