Victor Medvedchuk, head of Legal State center and former Chief of Staff of ex-President Kuchma, has turned to Prosecutor General of Ukraine Oleksander Medvedko with a demand to bring a criminal case against the Security Service of Ukraine.
Legal State’s press-service has disclosed this to UNIAN.
In particular, according to the press-service, Medvedchuk was aware of the attempt to counterfeit evidence against him in order to organize an illegal criminal persecution, connected with the “notorious Yushchenko’s poisoning”. Currently this evidence is under investigation of the Prosecutor’s General Office of Ukraine, the press-service reported.
Besides, according to the press-service, Medvedchuk has information that “during the last months, SBU has been counterfeiting evidence to bring a criminal case on the fact of a high treason against a number of Yushchenko’s opponents, including Medvedchuk, and that “the criminal activities” are supervised by an SBU deputy head.
Taking into account these facts, Medvedchuk turned to the Prosecutor General with demand to bring a criminal case against SBU officials.
