The Party of Regions faction will support the resolution of VR on appointing election of the President of Ukraine for January 17, 2010.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, deputy chairman of the Party of Regions faction in the Verkhovna Rada Oleksandr Efremov said this during the session of the Conciliatory Council.
O. Efremov said that the Party of Regions will support an appointing the regular election of the President of Ukraine for January 17, 2010, because this variant corresponds to Constitution of Ukraine.
“Let’s not play with the Constitutional Court in further”, said the representatives of the Party of Regions faction, having expressed a satisfaction with a position of representatives of the BYUT faction, who will also support decreasing of the term of carrying of the electoral presidential campaign from 120 days to 90 days.
