Interior Minister Yuri Lutsenko underlines that he is not going to dismiss chief of Directorate of the Interior Ministry in Kirovograd Oblast in spite of the demand of President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Y. Lutsenko said this at the news conference in Kyiv today.

“I do not debate with the President, I am not going to dismiss the chief of Kirovograd Oblast Police. Otherwise I had to dismiss chiefs of Oblast departments 1317 times during the year – it is a number of murders, which took place at the territory of Ukraine during the first six months of this year…” said Y. Lutsenko having noted that V. Yushchenko is interested only in one murder.
