President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko demanded from Prosecutor General Oleksandr Medvedko and Interior Minister Yuri Lutsenko to carry out staffing changes in their departments at yesterday’s broaden session of the board of the Prosecutor’ General Office. First of all it is necessary to dismiss leaders of Kirovograd Oblast public prosecutor`s office and police. The ground from this sharp criticism towards law-enforcement bodies is murder of resident of Kirovograd Oblast Valeriy Oliynyk. According to Kommersant – Ukraina newspaper, Victor Yushchenko was emotional and strict: “I understand that all generals are sitting in front of me”, - said the head of the state at the beginning of his speech. “But someone is chewing a gum”.
Having said this V. Yushchenko looked at one of the participants of the board and said: “Split out it immediately! You will do it at the beach” said the President and after some seconds added: “Thanks for having swallowed it”.
