Yanukovych goes on confusing poets' names

Leader of the Party of Regions Victor Yanukovych confused surname of Soviet poet Pavel Besposhadnyi, having named his as Pavel Bessmertnyi.

Delivering a speech in Donetsk yesterday at the opening of Donbass Arena stadium, he finished his greeting speech with the words from the verse of Soviet poet Pavel Besposhadnyi.

At the same time V. Yanukovych confused the name of the poet with other surname: “I want to finish my speech with the words of our glorious countryman Pavel Bessmertnyi”, having read then the famous lines from the verse.
