Lytvyn opened 5th session of VR of 6th convocation

Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn opened the 5th session of the parliament of the 6th convocation.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, the members of the Cabinet of Ministers take part in the opening ceremony of the session. Head of the government Yulia Tymoshenko is absent.

Moreover, chairman of the Constitutional Court Andriy Strizhak and chairman of the Supreme Court of Ukraine Vasyl Onopenko, Prosecutor General of Ukraine Oleksandr Medvedko, and representatives of the local power bodies take part in the solemn opening ceremony of the session.
