Russian leadership will not stake on any presidential contender Ukraine including favourites, and will support neither incumbent Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko nor leader of the opposition Victor Yanukovych.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, director of “Ukrainian barometer” sociologic service Victor Nebozhenko expressed this opinion at the news conference on topic: “Ukrainian election. Russian factor”.
According to his words, on “V. Yanukovych is not staken on, because he is distrusted” and according to information of the expert, there are no negotiations with him.
As of Yu. Tymoshenko he said the following. “She is a pragmatist and they understand that she should not be relied on”.
That is why, the political scientist believes that the Russian leadership will act in a “civilized, European way” and will stake on the winner.
