Third session of Verkhovna Rada to begin on 6 February 2007

The third session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the fifth convocation will begin on 6 February 2007, and will finish on 13 July.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, 303 lawmakers out of 441, present in the chamber, voted for this decree on adopting the schedule of the third session of the Verkhovna Rada of the fifth convocation.

In line with the decree, during this period of time, the parliament will work 12 weeks in a plenary regime. In addition, during six weeks lawmakers will work in parliamentary committees, and five weeks – with electors.

Six Days of Government will be carried out during the third session.
