The campaign of election of President of Ukraine officially started in Ukraine on Monday, on October 19.
In accordance with the Planned schedule of the main organization measures on preparation and carrying out of the election of the President of Ukraine, publicized by the Central electoral commission, the first day of the term of the electoral process is October 19, 2009.
The nomination of the candidates for the post of the President of Ukraine will start on October 20, 2009 and will finish on November 6, 2009.
The candidates for the post of the President of Ukraine have to submit the documents for registration to the Central electoral commission up to November 9 inclusive.
The registration of the candidates will last up to November 13 inclusive.
