VR did not overcome veto of President on law on allocating UAH 1 billion for fighting against flu

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine did not overcome the veto of President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko on law on allocating UAH 1 billion for fighting against fl at its extraordinary session.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, only 231 lawmakers (it is necessary to have 300 votes of lawmakers – UNIAN) out of 316 lawmakers registered in the session hall of the session hall voted for overcoming of the veto.

Almost all structure of the BYUT, KPU and Lytvyn’s Bloc factions voted for overcoming of the veto.

32 lawmakers from the Our Ukraine – People’s Self Defense faction voted for overcoming of the veto. All members of the Party of Regions faction did not vote for this decision.
