BYT prepares referendum to oust Kyiv Mayor

The Block of Yulia Tymoshenko began a series of measures to prepare a referendum to oust Leonid Chernovetskiy from the post of the Kyiv Mayor.

An UNIAN correspondent was told about this by BYT faction lawmaker Andriy Portnov.

According to him, the political block prepares meetings of people who will delegate a right to initiative groups to collect signatures in support of the referendum for declaring no confidence to Kyiv Mayor Leonid Chernovetskiy.

The lawmaker is convinced that the results of the referendum will have legal consequences.
