President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko says that Prime Minister of is about to appoint Victor Medvedchuk for a post of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine in case of her victory at presidential election. He said this on Sunday during the meeting with residents of Zhovkva town of the Lviv Oblast.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, in particular, the President criticized the words of Yu. Tymoshenko about introducing an order in the country with a help of “strong hand”.
“I want to cite her words: “If I have my Prosecutor General”, and I will not open a secret that the matter is about V. Medvedchuk – “so I will provide fulfilling of the budget”, said V. Yushchenko.
He underlined that, according to his persuasion, Ukraine needs European model, that is democracy.
