There are no grounds for stronger dollar – Financial Ministry

First deputy Finance Minister of Ukraine Igor Umanskyi says that there are no grounds for the higher dollar.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, I. Umanskyi said this today in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine during consideration of issue concerning the state budget for year 2010.

“As of today there are no economic, financial and monetary grounds for UAH/USD changes” he said.

According to the words of I. Umanskyi, representatives of the National Bank of Ukraine support this his position.
