President to take part in celebrations on occasion of Unity Day of Ukraine today

President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko will take part in the solemn measures on the occasion of Unity Day of Ukraine today.

The press service of the head of the state disclosed to UNIAN that he will take part in a wreath-laying ceremony to the monuments of Taras Shevchenko and Mykhaylo Grushevskyi at 9.00 am.

V. Yushchenko will deliver a speech at 12. 00 pm on occasion of Unity Day of Ukraine in the National Opera of Ukraine and he will present state awards, he will also watch a concert program. NTCU, NRCU and UTR World Service will broadcast this measure.
