The Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko and pro-presidential bloc Our Ukraine have signed an agreement on the establishment of the united opposition in the country’s Verkhovna Rada (parliament), Tymoshenko said in a live broadcast on the “One Plus One” television channel on Tuesday, according to Itar-Tass.

According to her, the agreement was signed on Monday evening. “We’ve had a long way to this event,” Tymoshenko pointed out. “All the agreement details will be announced at the parliament session today,” she said.

The Tymoshenko Bloc and Our Ukraine are calling for early parliamentary elections and cancellation of the country’s political reform that expanded the government powers by reducing presidential authority.
