Yanukovych takes part in thanksgiving service in Kyiv Pechersk Lavra

Newly elected President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych takes part in a thanksgiving service in Kyiv Pechersk Lavra.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, the thanksgiving service started at 9.00 am in the Refectory church, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill, and Metropolitan of Kyiv and all Ukraine Volodymyr are holding the thanksgiving service.

Representatives of Orthodox priesthood and V. Yanukovych pray for Ukraine and Ukrainian people.
