Yanukovych took oath

Newly elected President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych received a certificate of the President and official power symbols.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, V. Yanukovych took the oath, signed the text of the oath and passed it to chairman of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Andriy Stryzhak.

After that A. Stryzhak declared that the newly elected President took the oath and took up the post of President of Ukraine.
