“Kievzelenstroy” Communal Union is about to gradually replace sick white chestnut trees by red ones, which are adapted to polluted environment. General Director of “Kievzelenstroy” Communal Union Oleksandr Kozlovskyi said this.
According to web site of “Kievzelenstroy” Communal Union, white chestnut trees - symbol of the Ukrainian capital - became ill and lost aesthetic look because of pollution of the city with gasses in the city.
