President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych thinks about moving to Kyiv downtown for permanent residence.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, deputy head of Administration of President Hanna Herman said this to journalists today.

“The President said that he thinks about moving to the central part of Kyiv for residence in order not to complicate movement of Kyiv inhabitants to their working places”, said H. Herman answering the question of journalists concerning dissatisfaction of Kyiv inhabitants with blocking of traffic in the central part of the city for 30 minutes by the President’s cortège from his residence in Mezhygirje.

At the same time, H. Herman noted that these measures are forced, because being the head of the state, V. Yanukovych has to move quickly. ‘If President is in traffic jams, all the country will stand still”, she noted.
