Former President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko states that he never held negotiations with new head of the state Victor Yanukovych about his possible appointing for the post of the Prime Minister of Ukraine.
He said this in an interview to “Kommersant – Ukraina” (№52, from March 25, 2010).
“First of all, I did not hold these negotiations”, said V. Yushchenko, answering a question about a fact that some weeks ago there was a talk about his possible appointing for the post of the head of the government in case of change a format of the current coalition.
“Without any hesitation, the President, who will “sew together” Ukraine, will be criticized. But he has to realize a specificity of his post. I really do not want Victor Fedorovych Yanukovych to be the President of Donbass”, said V. Yushchenko.
According to his words, V. Yanukovych has to do a lot in order to become the President of all Ukraine.
