The Party of Regions faction demands the President and the government to submit proposals on trimming the personnel and expenses on the Presidential Secretariat.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Party of Regions faction deputy chief Vassyl Kysseliov announced this in the chamber today.
He stressed that after the constitutional reform entered into force, the authorities of the President reduced, and, respectively, the personnel and financing of the Presidential Secretariat also must be reduced.
V.Kysseliov asserts that, as of 10 March of 2005, 595 people worked in the Presidential Secretariat, while in 2007 – 596, but the financing of this agency increased by 70 million hryvnias.
According to him, having analyzed the authorities of the Secretariat, “one may conclude that instead of being busy with staff policy in regions, showing example of observing laws and facilitating the work of Oblast and district state administrations, the President of Ukraine neglects the Constitution, while his Secretariat is busy with preparing a coup d`etat”.
