Socialist Party of Ukraine faction leader Ivan Bokyi believes that acting Foreign Minister Volodymyr Ohryzko “cannot be a full-fledged chief of the Foreign Ministry”.
UNIAN was told about this at the press-service of the Socialist Party of Ukraine.
I.Bokyi noted that the President “is merely capricious”, insisting that the parliament support his candidacy for the Foreign Minister’s post. “It appears that for the sake of V.Ohryzko, we should sacrifice the foreign image of our state”, I.Bokyi concluded.
The lawmaker is confident that the Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry’s course is not hampered by anything, and does not depend on the surname of the Foreign Minister. I.Bokyi cited Verkhovna Rada Speaker Oleksander Moroz, who claimed that Ukraine will follow its course towards the Euro-integration.
At the same time, the Socialist Party of Ukraine calls on all political forces to unite around the Constitution to avoid destabilizing and resistance in the country. I.Bokyi expressed an opinion that only the decision of the Socialist Party and its leader O.Moroz concerning joining the Anti-Crisis Coalition saved Ukraine from ruining.
“While V.Yushchenko was sitting in his bee-garden and Yulia Tymoshenko was running between Our Ukraine and the Party of Regions, O.Moroz was saving the country”, I.Bokyi said.
