The Main Investigating Department of the Prosecutor General’s Office summoned BYUT leader Yulia Tymoshenko in order to give her the copies of resolutions on instituting criminal case against her concerning attempted bribe of judges of the Supreme Court of Ukraine.

The press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office disclosed this to UNIAN.

“This criminal case was instituted in May, 2004 and was prematurely closed in January, 2005 without carrying out of every necessary investigative action provided by article 22 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine”, - it is said in the report.

That is why the prejudicial inquiry has been resumed, representatives of the Prosecutor General’s Office underlined.
