GPO and SBU caught deputy Minister taking bribe of USD 200 thousand

The Prosecutor General’s Office and the Security Service of Ukraine (the SBU) detained deputy Minister of a Ministry when he was taking a large bribe for support of an applicant for the position of an oblast official.

The press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office disclosed to UNIAN that a priority investigation has been launched.

At the same time, informed source disclosed to UNIAN that official of the Environmental Protection Ministry of Ukraine was detained when he was taking a bribe of USD 200 thousand.
