President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych gave instructions to prepare a program of development of depressive oblasts in coming future.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, delivering a speech at a broadened session of the Sumy Oblast Committee on economic reforms V. Yanukovych gave instructions to first deputy head of the Administration of President Iryna Akimova, governor of the Sumy Oblast Yuriy Chmyr and other officials to elaborate a mechanism of creation of program concerning development of the Oblasts.
“We should pay attention to such depressive Oblasts as the Sumy, Chernigiv, Kherson and Ternopil Oblasts”, said the President of Ukraine.
The head of the state underlined that every Oblast should have a strategy of its development, set priorities in accordance with which it is necessary to work.
Before this V. Yanukovych rejected orders prepared by his subordinates, which he was to sign summing up his visit to the Sumy Oblast. “Take this useless scrap of paper away”, said the President of Ukraine, having added that he expect serious propositions, including those to be used in a program of development of the Oblast.
