The bilateral meeting of President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych and President of Sri Lanka Mahinda Rajapaksa has started in Kyiv.
The press service of the President of Ukraine disclosed to UNIAN that at the beginning of the meeting the head of the Ukrainian state highly estimated the arrival of the President of Sri Lanka in Ukraine on his invitation.
He also noted importance of scheduled Ukrainian - Sri Lankian business forum.
In his turn the President of Sri Lanka thanked his Ukrainian counterpart for invitation to visit Ukraine, and in particular, for beautiful Kyiv city.
He also expressed confidence that his official visit to Ukraine will promote strengthening of relations between two states.
The President of Sri Lanka also noted importance of scheduled Ukrainian - Sri Lankian business forum.
