President meets BYuT leader
They spoke about how to resolve the parliamentary crisis
Victor Yushchenko has met with MP Yulia Tymoshenko, leader of the biggest opposition faction in Ukraine’s parliament, according to the President`s press-office.
They spoke about how to resolve the developing parliamentary crisis and whether the country`s political leaders have fulfilled any of the obligations they assumed during talks on Monday.
On March 19, the President met with Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych, Parliament Speaker Oleksandr Moroz, Vyacheslav Kyrylenko (Our Ukraine), Yulia Tymoshenko (BYuT), Rayisa Bohatyryova (Party of Regions), Ivan Bokyy (Socialist Party), and Valentyn Matveyev (Communist Party) for crisis talks. They agreed to form a group to tackle the most pressing problems and establish a constitutional commission.
