President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych keeps on working actively in Crimea.

The press service of the President of Ukraine with reference to head of the Administration of President of Ukraine Serhiy Lyovochkin disclosed to UNIAN that a working schedule of V. Yanukovych includes a range of measures.

In particular, the President will meet with Foreign Minister of Ukraine Konstyantyn Hryshchenko and Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Tigipko.

Moreover, V. Yanukovych will chair the meeting on issues concerning national investment projects.

The head of the state will hold a meeting with chairman of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine Serhiy Bubka. During this meeting it is planned to discuss a conception of filing of an application from Ukraine to carry out winter Olympic Games 2022 in Carpathians.

V. Yanukovych will also meet with member of the International Olympic Committee, President of International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) Lamine Diack.

The head of the state will hold a meeting concerning strategy of development of Crimea and meet with representatives of Crimean Tartars and journalists on August 3.

The President - Supreme Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will inspect a Sevastopol detachment of naval guard of the State border service of Ukraine on August 5 and the head of the state will visit a firing ground of takeoff and landing system “NITKA” of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine on August 11.

It is planned that the head of the state will pay a working visit to the Chernovtzy Oblast on August 7 and the Kherson Oblast on August 14.

 It is also planned that the meeting of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine on issues concerning activity of the Defense Ministry and development of the defense-industrial complex will take place under chairmanship of V. Yanukovych on August 20.
