Ukraine is interested in deepening cooperation with China, particularly in the investment area, Viktor Yanukovych said in an interview to Ukrainian journalists, according to the press office of President Viktor Yanukovych.
"It is important that we could attract investment to the country, and win the attention of such countries as China," he said.
The President noted that Ukrainian side is ready to take part in a number of Chinese programs, such as involvement of our staff and technologies in development of infrastructure in certain regions and cities of China. "We must promote our capabilities," President Yanukovych said.
The President also drew attention to the fact that Ukraine is an export-oriented country, so we must maintain our national products’ presence at global markets and open new ones. "China is a very interesting country for us. And in terms of comfort of our relations, I believe, it is our good partner with whom we will work," Viktor Yanukovych said.
