The Presidential Secretariat mulls the issue of Ukraine’s eventual quitting the Commonwealth of Independent States.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, President’s advisor, chief of the Main Service for Foreign Policy Kostiantyn Tymoshenko claimed this to a news conference in the Presidential Secretariat today.

He stressed that Ukraine had many times announced that it was not satisfied with the CIS operation, and raised the question about the expediency of this organization.

K.Tymoshenko noted that the issue of quitting CIS is considered, though it is not urgent.

He pointed out that Ukraine wants that numerous agreements, signed within the framework of CIS, begin to work and bring results.
