Yanukovych and Medvedev to take part in international auto race

“St. Petersburg – Moscow-Kyiv” today...

President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych together with President of the Russian Federation Dmitriy Medvedev will take part in an International auto race dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the first auto race St. Petersburg – Moscow-Kyiv.

The press service of the head of the Ukrainian state disclosed to UNIAN that it is planned that at 14.30 pm a motorcade of the auto race headed by the Presidents will leave for Glukhov town (the Sumy Oblast).

At 15.30 pm the Presidents of Ukraine and the Russian Federation will arrive in Glukhov town, where they will visit Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral and take part in a wreath-laying ceremony to the monument to warriors who died during the Great Patriotic war. The Presidents will also speak to mass media representatives and will see modern automobiles.

Moreover, a sitting on border cooperation issues under chairmanship of the heads of the states will take place in Glukhov.
