The Football Championship Euro-2012 should give an impetus to modernization of the Ukrainian production, according to the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Secretariat of the CMU. Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said this today after the opening of railway traffic on the Darnytsya bridge in Kyiv.
"Ukraine can produce itself absolutely everything: locomotives and rolling stock, as well as modern wagons. We need Euro-2012 to be a stimulus for us to upgrade our own production, not to buy somewhere abroad and raise the foreign production", emphasised Mykola Azarov, adding that the Government would perform, in particular, the modernization of Ukrainian wagon production.
