Yanukovych underlines necessity of stirring up of Ukrainian-Canadian relations

President of Ukraine underlined a necessity of stirring up of the Ukrainian-Canadian relations in political, economic and humanitarian areas.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, the head of the state said this at the beginning of the Ukrainian-Canadian negotiations that take place in Kyiv within the framework of an official visit of Prime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper.

The President of Ukraine notes that this visit is symbolic, long expected and important for the Ukrainian side.

In his turn Prime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper agreed with opinion of the President of Ukraine having noted the necessity to stir up cooperation with two states.
