The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will continue consideration of the draft Tax Code in the second reading today.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, the parliament has already started consideration of the draft law on November 16 and has already considered 5 out of 19 sections.
4800 amendments (800 amendments are proposed by the BYUT-“Batkivshchyna”) were submitted to the draft Tax Code.
At the beginning of the plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada lawmakers stay in the governmental box, near the rostrum and presidium of the parliament in order to prevent opposition from blocking a work of the parliament.
Lawmakers from BYUT-“Batkivshchyna” are at their working place and hang posters with inscriptions: “No” – to tax terror!”, “Tigipko! Where is tax vacation?”, “New taxes to people! New billions to oligarchs!”.
