President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych met with Marshal of the Senate of Poland Bogdan Borusewicz. Welcoming the guest in Kyiv, President Yanukovych said: "It is pleasant that Ukrainian-Polish dialogue at the highest and high levels has been reviving recently”, according to the Press office of President Viktor Yanukovych.

The President expressed confidence that further development of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Poland will boost cooperation in various areas, including the effective inter-parliamentary dialogue.

Viktor Yanukovych also said that the question of his official visit to Poland is being worked on currently. According to him, he plans make this visit in the first quarter of 2011.

From his part, the Marshal of the Senate of Poland pointed to the high level of interparliamentary cooperation between our countries. "Our parliamentary relations are very good," he said.

Mr. Borusewicz also gave positive assessment of the current level of intergovernmental Ukrainian-Polish relations. He also stressed that Poland expected the visit of the President of Ukraine.
