Yulia Tymoshenko says that only political openness and transparency can prevent mudslinging, according to the web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.
"Any conversation I have can be made public because what I say in private and public is the same," Yulia Tymoshenko said today after her interrogation at the Prosecutor General’s Office.
She referred to the current government’s accusations that her government misused state funds as an unsubstantiated smear campaign.
"After the numerous investigations by the prosecutor’s office, SBU, Control and Revision Office, Azarov and Yanukovych personally, all they found was that I ‘paid pension funds with environmental funds’ – and this is my greatest crime - then I don’t think there’s any mudslinging that could scare me," said Yulia Tymoshenko.
