President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych arrived in Latvia on an official visit.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, in accordance with a program of the visit, President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych will meet with President of Latvia Valdis Zatlers; negotiations of the official delegations in a broadened structure will take place.
As a result of the negotiations it is planned to sign the Ukrainian – Latvian bilateral documents, after that the heads of the states will meet with mass media representatives.
V. Yanukovych will also take part in wreath-laying ceremony to Monument of Freedom in Riga.
It is also planned that the President of Ukraine will meet with the Prime Minister and Speaker of the Seim of Latvia.
Moreover, the Ukrainian – Latvian business forum under chairmanship of the Presidents of Ukraine and Latvia will take place.
It is also planned that V. Yanukovych will visit Riga Ukrainian secondary school.
Official dinner in honour of the President of Ukraine on behalf of the President of Latvia will take place in the evening.
V. Yanukovych will finish his official visit to Latvia and will return to Ukraine today.
