Official meeting ceremony of Presidents of Ukraine and Latvia took place in Riga

The meeting of President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych and President of Latvia Valdis Zatlers took place in front of Riga Palace in Riga -an official residence of the President of Latvia.

The press service of the President of Ukraine reports this.

Military orchestra performed the national anthems of Ukraine and Latvia and leaders of the states reviewed the guard of honour. The ceremony came to an end with mutual introduction of the official delegations of Ukraine and Latvia.

After that the meeting of the Presidents started in “tête-a-tête” format.
