Ukraine and Latvia signed a range of bilateral documents.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, the signing ceremony took place within the framework of the visit of President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych to Latvia.

In particular, the heads of the states signed a Joint Statement.

They also signed: Intergovernmental agreement on transit transportations using ports and other transport infrastructure; Agreement between Defense Ministries of Ukraine and Latvia on cooperation in defense area; Agreement between Health Ministries of Ukraine and Latvia on cooperation in health services area and medical science; Memorandum on mutual understanding between Foreign Ministries of Ukraine and Latvia in cooperation issues concerning European integration.
