The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted Law of Ukraine “On Introducing Amendments into Law of Ukraine “On the State Budget of Ukraine for the Year 2007”.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, 259 out of 259 lawmakers, present in the chamber, voted for this.
The parliament voted for the governmental draft law, taking into account the proposals of the Verkhovna Rada Committee for Budget Issues.
In particular, the committee proposed to increase revenues of the state budget’s general fund by 156 million 800 thousand hryvnias. In addition, the expenses of the state budget’s general fund were proposed to be increased by 156 million 800 thousand hryvnias. The committee also proposed to increase financing the Interior Ministry of Ukraine by 214 million hryvnias, and the Justice Ministry of Ukraine by 2 million 800 thousand hryvnias.
At the same time, the committee proposed to reduce financing the Central Electoral Commission of Ukraine by 60 million hryvnias.
