Yanukovych hopes that relations with Japan to develop in accordance with Eastern calendar’s projection

President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych hopes that the relations of Ukraine and Japan will develop in accordance with Eastern calendar’s projection: harmoniously, stably and openly.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, the head of the state said this in Tokyo today during the meeting with representatives of Ukrainian and Japanese business circles that took place in Keidanren Japan Business Federation.

At the same time he noted a symbolism that his first international visit this year is made to Japan.

“According to the Eastern calendar, it is believed that 2011 will bring a harmony, openness and stability. I hope that all these features will become determinative for our bilateral relations in further perspective”.
