Yanukovych and PM of Japan came to agreement on stirring up of Ukrainian-Japanese relations

President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych and Prime Minister of Japan Naoto Kan signed a Joint statement concerning Ukrainian-Japanese global partnership.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, the signing ceremony took place in Tokyo today as a result of the meeting of V. Yanukovych and N. Kan within the framework of the visit of the head of the Ukrainian state to Japan.

The leaders discussed a current condition and perspectives of the Ukrainian-Japan relations, having noted an importance of such substantial values as democracy, freedom, supremacy of law and human rights.
