Economics Ministry forecasts growth of direct foreign investment
In 2006 at $4.5 bln.
The Economics Ministry of Ukraine forecasts that in 2006 the growth of direct foreign investments into the Ukrainian economics will make $4.5 bln, with taking into account the investments into the banking sector.
This is said in the draft Project of the Economic and Social Development of Ukraine in 2007, posted at the official web site of the Economics Ministry.
The documents reads in since the second half-year of 2006, the investment activities are expected to grow. The gross accumulation of the basic capital will grow in the structure of GDP from 22% in 2005 to 22.8% in 2006.
Ministry’s specialists are convinced that the positive dynamics of the gross accumulation of the main capital will be determined by the following factors:
capitalization of the growing deposits of the population through the banking system and other financial institutions, the improvement of the investment climate, and the growth of the investment import in Ukraine.
