Lytvyn: criticism is slavery habit
Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada...
Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn praised President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych for carrying out reforms and called upon those who do not support these changes not to prevent power from working.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine said this during the opening of the 8th session of the parliament of the 6th convocation.
“Well, tell me who offered active and brain work concerning withdrawal of the country from the difficult social-economic condition; who outlined and offered his vision of reforms and insists on implementation of not easy transformations – President of Ukraine Victor Fedorovych Yanukovych”, said V. Lytvyn.
According to his words, the Administration of President is now as a “center of reformism”.
According to his opinion, the Verkhovna Rada should “welcome and support” these reforms.
The parliamentary majority met his words with applause and representatives of the opposition said that V. Lytvyn overpraises the President.
The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada answered that “a criticism is a slavery habit and correspondingly, calls to build a paradise in Ukraine turn into a hell”.
