BYUT-Batkivshchyna lawmakers left the session hall of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in a sign of protest against capture of the party’s office at Turovska Street 13 in Kyiv.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, at the session of the parliament First Deputy Chairman of the BYUT-Batkivshchyna party Andriy Kozhemyakin said that “right now our faction received information that provocations from the side of the SBU towards party’s office of the Batkivshchyna political party are being prepared, and now “Alfa” special subdivision together with investigators and SBU employees come to Turovska Street in order to take it by storm”.

“That is why our faction leaves the session hall and goes to Turovska Street 13 in order to clarify the situation and protect office”, added A. Kozhemyakin.
