President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych believes that first head of the state Leonid Kravchuk should head a work concerning preparation of draft new edition of the Main Law.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, V. Yanukovych said this at the session of the science-expert group on preparation of the Constitutional Assembly that takes place in Kyiv today.
Opening the session V. Yanukovych thanked L. Kravchuk for submitted propositions and initiative to create the Constitutional Assembly in Ukraine within the framework of which further steps on carrying out of the constitutional reform will be elaborated.
Leonid Kravchuk also believes that current head of the state Victor Yanukovych is first Ukrainian leader who has the courage to carry out reforms.
