Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn will pay a working visit to the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast on March 11, on Friday.
The VRU press service disclosed to UNIAN that in accordance with the program of the visit, V. Lytvyn will hold a meeting of the Consultative Council on issues of local self-government in Yaremche.
Participants of the Consultative Council will consider issues concerning legislative ensuring of the administrative-territorial reform in Ukraine, and state and perspectives of development of tourism in the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast.
The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will meet with faculty and students of the Ivano-Frankivsk Medical University and will give a news conference; he will also deliver a speech at the local television.
