PGO confirms criminal case against Kuchma

First Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Renat Kuzmin confirms information about institution of criminal case against former President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, R. Kuzmin said this at the news conference answering question of journalists today.

“Issue of qualification of case is not today’s issue. L. Kuchma is suspected of exceeding his authority, giving illegal instructions to leaders of the Interior Ministry that led to murder of journalist G. Gongadze”, he said.
