Lytvyn does not rule out possibility of early election of Kyiv City Council and Mayor

Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine does not rule out a possibility of early election of Kyiv City Council and Mayor, if current city council and chairman of the city state administration Oleksandr Popov do not come to an arrangement.

The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine said this in an interview to journalists.

He noted that today he acquainted himself with the draft resolution submitted by representatives of the BYUT faction concerning possibility of early election in Kyiv, and “assigned it (the draft resolution – UNIAN) among corresponding committees”.
